From car crashes to drownings, even falls, the Lee Health Trauma Center has treated patients with a variety of injuries for 27 years. “It’s important to recognize that between the ages of 1-44, trauma remains the leading cause of death, more so than any other illness,” said Dr. Sergey Kozyr, a trauma surgeon with Lee Health.
