Waste Pro struggles to hire new workers
CAPE CORAL, Fla.– With trash still piling up across Cape Coral, Waste Pro gave an update to City Council members on Wednesday about their hiring efforts. Recently, Waste Pro was able to hire one new person but they are still understaffed with seven positions open. Company officials said they are increasing recruiting efforts but are only getting a handful of applications. To attract new employees, Waste Pro said they are offering attractive pay and benefits as well as numerous incentives.
