CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. — One person was injured in a shooting at 2045 N. Beach Road on Saturday night, officials said. Deputies with the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office are investigating a shooting near the Lock ‘N Key Restaurant in Englewood. One person was injured in the shooting and was taken to a local hospital for treatment, deputies said. The other person involved in the shooting waited on the scene for law enforcement to arrive. CCSO deputies are investigating the shooting. Additional information about the shooting or the identities of those involved are not known....

Deputies investigate early morning Port Charlotte shooting

CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. – A car was shot at early Saturday morning on Fleetwood Drive and Joplin Avenue in Port Charlotte. The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office said they were investigating the shooting after it was reported around 4:40 a.m. in the Murdock area. A car was hit by bullets, and after talking with witnesses, Charlotte County deputies said they believe it was a directed incident. Investigators respond to deadly crash in Charlotte County

CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. – Troopers and deputies are responding to a deadly crash on Cochran Boulevard near the US 41 intersection in Charlotte County. The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed the southbound lanes of Cochran Boulevard are blocked off in the area. Florida Highway Patrol is on scene with deputies.
