FORT MYERS BEACH, Fla. — A car that slammed into a fire hydrant caused a major water leak on Fort Myers Beach on Memorial Day, officials said. The flooding stopped both directions of traffic near the Big Carlos Pass on Estero Boulevard for over half an hour. Some people were seen getting out of their cars while waiting on the bridge. FORT MYERS BEACH, Fla.– A man was caught snapping pictures of women on Fort Myers Beach over the weekend in a video posted to TikTok. The video now has two-million views. Although the mans actions make a lot of people feel uncomfortable, it’s not illegal in a public area like Fort Myers Beach. FORT MYERS BEACH, Fla. — It’s been 10 months since a 22-year-old man was gunned down on Fort Myers Beach, officials said. Investigators need the public’s help with tracking down Johnny Jackson’s murderer. While spending time with friends and family near the Lani Kai Island Resort on Fort Myers Beach, an unidentified shooter shot and killed Jackson.
