The fiery wreckage of a cargo ship off the Georgia coast has been extinguished, according to a press release from the St. Simons Sound Incident Unified Command, as responding firefighter teams continue to monitor for additional flames. Woman accused of shooting mom, kidnapping twin babies

SAVANNAH, Ga. [WSAV] – A woman is accused of a shooting a young mom and kidnapping her twin babies on Tuesday morning, according to police. Angela Montgomery, 23, took the 6-week-old boys, Lorenzo and Matto Rogers, after shooting their mother, 23-year-old Gabrielle Rogers, according to the Savannah Police Department [SPD]. Officers responded to the 1500 block of NE 36th Street shortly after 10 a.m. where they found Gabrielle suffering from critical gunshot injuries. She was rushed to the hospital.
