Lee County deputies search for missing Lehigh Acres man

LEE COUNTY, Fla. – Lee County deputies are searching a missing Lehigh Acres man. Rastislav Havlic was last seen at his home wearing a grey tank top, blue basketball shorts, glasses, and Jordan sliders, according to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office. He was driving his black 2015 Ford Edge bearing a license plate number HTER38. Havlic could be heading north on I-75 to the Tampa area, Lee County deputies said. Car crashes & flips next to Fort Myers home

FORT MYERS, Fla. — Deputies with the Lee County Sheriff’s Office responded to a car that crashed into the front of a home on New York Avenue in Fort Myers late Thursday night. Multiple LCSO cruisers were seen at the location where a white sedan flipped and hit a home and at least one other vehicle. NBC2 crews saw a damaged LCSO K9 cruiser at the scene. “Darling” manatee released after recovering from red tide-related illness

LEE COUNTY, Fla. — Deputies with the Lee County Sheriff’s Office helped return a 1,100-pound manatee back to the wild on Wednesday. The manatee, nicknamed “Darling,” was rescued by LCSO deputies on February 13 after it got stuck in some mangroves and needed treatment for red tide-related health issues. Darling was transferred to Zoo Tampa for treatment and rehabilitation. On May 12, Darling was deemed healthy enough to head back to the wild. Deputies investigate scene on Tice Street

LEE COUNTY, Fla. — Law enforcement and rescue crews responded to a scene on Tice Street and Figuera Avenue on Sunday. Deputies with the Lee County Sheriff’s Office were seen talking with two men at the scene. Lee County EMS and a fire crew also responded.
