Punta Gorda doorbell camera captures meteor
PUNTA GORDA, Fla.– A Punta Gorda man received an early morning surprise when he checked his doorbell security camera on Sunday. Jason Warner was at work when his phone went off, alerting him his camera picked up motion. “I looked at it and didn’t know what it was,” said Warner. The video shows a meteor streaking down from the sky before ducking out of the camera’s range. This is one of numerous videos of meteors captured on camera in Southwest Florida since at least April 12th.
