ARCADIA, Fla. – Residents in an Arcadia neighborhood are looking over their shoulders after a shooting leaves a corner store owner dead. Neighbors said the shooting happened at the Fiesta Food Mart on Magnolia Street around 2:30 p.m. on Friday. ARCADIA, Fla. – A 64-year-old Punta Gorda man died Friday nearly one month after he was airlifted to the hospital with serious injuries following a crash in Arcadia. Around 11:30 a.m. on April 12, a pickup truck driven by a 22-year-old Arcadia woman was pulling a utility trailer on County Road 760 near SW Nipper Avenue when the trailer detached from the truck, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
