CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. — One person was injured in a shooting at 2045 N. Beach Road on Saturday night, officials said. Deputies with the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office are investigating a shooting near the Lock ‘N Key Restaurant in Englewood. Delaware State University is canceling more than $700,000 in student loans for recent graduates hit hard by the Covid-19 pandemic.
