BROOKFIELD, Wis. / CNN — Target will temporarily stop selling sports and Pokémon trading cards in their stores after a recent violent incident at one of its locations, officials announced. LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. — Balloons from your backyard birthday party or graduation celebration could pose a significant brush fire risk, Lehigh Fire Rescue officials said. FORT MYERS, Fla. — Deputies with the Lee County Sheriff’s Office responded to a car that crashed into the front of a home on New York Avenue in Fort Myers late Thursday night. Multiple LCSO cruisers were seen at the location where a white sedan flipped and hit a home and at least one other vehicle. NBC2 crews saw a damaged LCSO K9 cruiser at the scene. FRYEBURG, Maine (AP)– A former police officer managed to get out of a meeting but it cost him his job. As reported by the AP, a law enforcement oversight board made the choice to revoke Fryeburg Police Chief Joshua Potvin’s license after it was discovered that he faked a suspicious person report so he could get out of a meeting.
