Americans can start applying for $50 off their monthly internet bill on Wednesday as part of an emergency government program to keep people connected during the pandemic. The $3.2 billion program is part of the $900 billion December pandemic-relief package. Florida deputies rescue kitten that hitched ride under patrol car

MONROE COUNTY, Fla. – Monroe County deputies saved a kitten on Monday after they found it hitching a ride under a deputy’s patrol car. Reports came in just after 9 a.m. of a kitten running close to traffic on the Seven Mile Bridge. Deputy Jonathan Rodriguez responded to the call and found an adult cat that was dead — suspected to be the kitten’s mother — in the road. Monstrous deep water fish washes up on California shore

CNN – A fish with a nightmarish mug washed up on a California beach last week. With teeth like glass and a football shaped body, the creature was found on the shore of Crystal Cove State Park’s Marine Protected Area in Laguna Beach. Investigators rule Charlotte County house fire was arson

CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla.– Investigators determined a fire at a home under construction off Egret Place in Charlotte County was set intentionally. The fire happened at the end of February. The smoke damage was limited to the garage area.
