Cape Coral COVID-19 vaccine site opens next week

CAPE CORAL, Fla. — The City of Cape Coral is teaming up with Curative to offer coronavirus vaccine to the community.

Starting Monday, May 17, people can get a COVID-19 shot at the current testing site located across from City Hall at 1020 Cultural Park Boulevard.

Walk ups are allowed at this site, but appointments can also be made.

CLICK HERE to make an appointment.

The vaccine site is offering the Moderna vaccine and will be open seven days a week from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. The site plans on also offering the Pfizer and Johnson and Johnson vaccines in the next couple weeks.

If you made an appointment, bring your appointment confirmation number. A government-issued ID is required for all appointments. If the appointment is for your second dose, please bring your vaccine record. Patients will be requested to remain at the location for 15 minutes after the vaccine is administered to monitor for any adverse side effects.

The vaccine is free of charge. Curative will bill your insurance or the HRSA program to administer the vaccine, but health insurance is not required to get your shot.
