Delaware State University is canceling more than $700,000 in student loans for recent graduates hit hard by the Covid-19 pandemic. ARCADIA, Fla. – Residents in an Arcadia neighborhood are looking over their shoulders after a shooting leaves a corner store owner dead. Deputies investigate early morning Port Charlotte shooting

CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. – A car was shot at early Saturday morning on Fleetwood Drive and Joplin Avenue in Port Charlotte. The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office said they were investigating the shooting after it was reported around 4:40 a.m. in the Murdock area. A car was hit by bullets, and after talking with witnesses, Charlotte County deputies said they believe it was a directed incident.
