Forecast: Mild and dry this evening
Rain opportunities will continue to trend very low this evening, as mostly clear sky conditions remain and temperatures stay mild. We’ll drop into the middle 70s late this evening, before eventually cooling off into the upper 60s by sunrise tomorrow morning.
On Wednesday, mostly sunny sky conditions are on tap once again as rain coverage of any kind would stay limited. Though the humidity will be modestly higher than it was today, when you consider the big picture, it’s still pretty low for late May. This is helping to keep the wildfire active in our community. Please continue doing your part by limiting and mitigating the chance of any kind of flame outdoors.
Gradually, higher humidity values should start sneaking back into the area by the weekend, and with that we’ll be able to increase our chances for rain. For now, we’ll leave in the forecast the opening for some isolated to scattered storms on the sea breeze on Saturday and Sunday.
Tonight on NBC2 News starting at 3 p.m., we have more on tonight’s lunar eclipse and Supermoon event and what rain prospects look like for early next week.
