JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (WTLV) — The man accused of shooting two women and a toddler in New York City’s Time Square on Saturday was detained near Jacksonville. Farrakhan Muhammad was found and taken into custody at a McDonald’s located at 802 South Walnut Street in Starke, according to NBC affiliate WTLV. SAVANNAH, Ga. [WSAV] – A woman is accused of a shooting a young mom and kidnapping her twin babies on Tuesday morning, according to police. Angela Montgomery, 23, took the 6-week-old boys, Lorenzo and Matto Rogers, after shooting their mother, 23-year-old Gabrielle Rogers, according to the Savannah Police Department [SPD]. Marco Island Police investigate string of car thefts

MARCO ISLAND, Fla.– The Marco Island Police are investigating multiple car thefts and burglaries. Six vehicles were stolen with two of them recovered on Marco Island. Another vehicle that was stolen out of Pinellas County was also found on the island. Additionally, fourteen vehicles were burglarized. NAPLES, Fla. — Two people on Naples Beach were robbed by a person with a “stick” or “club” with nails sticking out of it on Friday, police said. LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. – A Lehigh Acres man, who lives on 59th Street West near Susan Ave North, said he had his mailbox smashed by a white van. Midpoint Bridge closes while police investigate deadly shooting

CAPE CORAL, Fla. – One person was killed and another was seriously injured in an early Sunday morning shooting. All access to the Midpoint Bridge was blocked just after 2 a.m. along with the intersection of Veterans Memorial Parkway at Del Prado Boulevard.
