Times Square shooting suspect caught in Florida after running out of gas

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (WTLV) — The man accused of shooting two women and a toddler in New York City’s Time Square on Saturday was detained near Jacksonville. Farrakhan Muhammad was found and taken into custody at a McDonald’s located at 802 South Walnut Street in Starke, according to NBC affiliate WTLV. Collier County deputies search for missing teen & one-year-old daughter

COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. – Collier County deputies are looking for a missing teen and her one-year-old daughter. The 17-year-old, Sarah Joseph, and her one-year-old daughter, Iyana Victor were last seen by family leaving her Golden Gate home on May 4, according to the Collier County Sheriff’s Office. Investigators rule Charlotte County house fire was arson

CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla.– Investigators determined a fire at a home under construction off Egret Place in Charlotte County was set intentionally. The fire happened at the end of February. The smoke damage was limited to the garage area. At the end of April on the same construction site, a truck was caught on surveillance video backing into a port-o-potty multiple times until it tipped over. Man dead in fiery DeSoto County crash

DESOTO COUNTY, Fla. – A man died just before 1 a.m. Sunday after a DeSoto County crash that caused the pickup truck he was driving to go up in flames, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. Troopers said a man driving south on NW Eucalyptus Avenue near NW Sycamore Street when he ran off the road and hit a tree. The pickup truck then caught fire and became engulfed in flames on the shoulder of Eucalyptus Avenue, investigators said. The man was pronounced dead on scene. ARCADIA, Fla. – A 64-year-old Punta Gorda man died Friday nearly one month after he was airlifted to the hospital with serious injuries following a crash in Arcadia.
