Third victim dies after mass shooting at Florida club

 (CNN) — Police are looking for the assailants who opened fire at a Florida club, killing three people and wounding at least 20 more, Miami-Dade police director Alfredo Ramirez III said. A white Nissan Pathfinder pulled up to a billiards club in Hialeah between 12 a.m. and 1 a.m. Sunday, Ramirez said. Naples mayor hosts community conversation to hear from residents

NAPLES, Fla. – Naples Mayor Teresa Heitmann hosted a community conversation on Thursday. This comes after two ethics complaints were filed against her. Wednesday morning from 9-11 a.m. Mayor Heitmann had one-on-one conversations with people in the community. Animal Control in LaBelle reduces services until next week

LABELLE, Fla. – Animal Control in LaBelle is reducing their services until next week and said residents should not bring animals their way. The facility located off of Rodeo Drive in LaBelle. City officials said they’re restricting services due to shortages on staff. Shelter operators said one employee recently underwent back surgery while the other is on vacation. Two kids break into Florida home, open fire on deputies

ENTERPRISE, Fla. – A teen girl and a 12-year-old boy are accused of running away from a group home in Florida Tuesday night, breaking into someone’s home and shooting at deputies. Travis O’Brien, 12, and Nicole Jackson, 14, are expected to face charges after they were reported missing just before 5 p.m. from Florida United Methodist Children’s Home in Enterprise, according to the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office. Some airlines extend alcohol bans on flights

FORT MYERS, Fla. – As airports fill back up with passengers hoping to take to the skies, accounts of violence on planes are drastically rising on various airlines around the country. In the last week of May, multiple fist fights were caught on camera while passengers were seated on the plane. Estero man sentenced to seven years for child porn

ESTERO, Fla. – A 28-year-old Estero man was sentenced to seven years in federal prison Tuesday after pleading guilty to child porn charges in 2019. Kyle O’Brien was also sentenced to a lifetime of supervised release after the FBI, joined by other agencies, swarmed a unit at the Coastal Village Apartments in Estero to serve a search warrant in April 2019, according to court documents. Driver slams into fire hydrant, causing flooding & delays on Fort Myers Beach

FORT MYERS BEACH, Fla. — A car that slammed into a fire hydrant caused a major water leak on Fort Myers Beach on Memorial Day, officials said. The flooding stopped both directions of traffic near the Big Carlos Pass on Estero Boulevard for over half an hour. Some people were seen getting out of their cars while waiting on the bridge.
