Two hawk nestlings receive treatment after they were found in a parking lot
SANIBEL-CAPTIVA, Fla.– Two red-shouldered hawk nestlings were found in a parking lot before being taken to a clinic to be treated.
CROW veterinarians said said the babies were healthy besides being underweight.
Officials said it is likely their home was destroyed. They will recover at CROW until they are back to a healthy weight. Then, staff will re-nest them or find them a foster parent.
Feel better, little nestlings!
