LONGJING, China / CNN — Officials are blaming extreme weather for causing a terrifying incident that left one tourist stranded on a glass-bottomed suspension bridge in northeast China on May 7. A photo shared by Chinese state media Xinhua on Chinese social media site Weibo shows a person clinging to the bridge’s railing, surrounded by missing and damaged glass platform panels. A cyber attack on Friday caused a major U.S.fuel pipeline to temporarily halt operations as officials work to mitigate the threat. A Russian criminal group called DarkSide could be responsible for using ransomware to extort the Colonial Pipeline, which carries fuel from Texas and supplies states across the southeastern US and up to the New York Harbor, NBC News reported. Deputies with the Lee County Sheriff’s Office were seen talking with two men at the scene. Lee County EMS and a fire crew also responded. NAPLES, Fla. — A driver lost control and smashed into multiple palm trees on Radio Road Sunday night. Rescue crews with Greater Naples Fire and Collier County EMS responded to the scene near Radio Lane, but no injuries have been reported, UC Breaking News reported. Numerous trees in the median of Radio Road were seen toppled over and the eastbound lanes had to be completely shut down so crews could clear the roadway. A tow truck removed the damaged Ford Mustang from the crash site.
